Yael stone, a New York City based Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael completed her studies at NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to be able to collaborate with the best storytellers in Australia. Her experience includes behind-the-scenes work in television, film and the theatre. Yael has had a long and successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael is the co-founder The Cannery. The Cannery. The Cannery is the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery encourages ideas in creative writing, as well as innovative creative projects and assists in the development of young writers.
