Gale was just 18 when she won a modeling competition in Perth. Gale was the winner of a modeling competition in Perth at the age of 18. After a few years in the modeling industry, Gale became famous when she was asked to be the main character in an advertisement for Omnitel the Italian telecoms company (now Vodafone Italy). The ads featured her up to 2006 and was subsequently chosen with the Australian Tourist Commission as the face of Australia for Italy.' Gale also appears in the editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan.
